Growing up in the green rolling hills of western Pennsylvania, I always had a yearning for Arizona. It is a blessing that the paths of my life have led me here to Tucson!

I have a genuine affinity for pottery.  My fiancé says I have clay in my blood!  To form a vessel from a lump of clay is so satisfying.  Take me to an art fair....I end up buying a piece of pottery.

Clay can be embossed with textures, highlighted by glaze interactions, or pure simple shapes can flow from a potter's hands.  The utter anticipation of opening the kiln after firing is like Christmas Day!

Utilizing my Bachelor of Science in Consumer Services from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I administered employee benefits in Houston, TX and spent 16 years as co-proprietor of a Lake Huron restaurant located in the 3rd oldest city in the USA-St. Ignace, MI.  (1671-founded by Father Marquette)   The off season gave me a great opportunity for both domestic and international travel.

Spiritually, my life formula is "family, faith and friends".......and of course......pottery!
