Medium: Tile

Gail Brynildsen for the past six years has been working in clay and ceramics. She started by hand building and then found her niche’ in drawing and “painting” on the clay. She has taken many classes regarding this medium and while a member of the Green Valley Clay and Ceramic Studio’s, Gail taught classes on tile work and how to design and “build” a mural.
Gail’s customers comment on her familiar yet “funky designs” which they say makes them happy. She has been published in the Tucson Home Magazine, Designer Edition, for a handmade tile kitchen mural. Other juried events include: the “Great Fair” in Fountain Hills, AZ, the Tucson Museum of Art Holiday Market, Tubac Center for the Arts Holiday Market, the Patagonia Fair, SAACA events , the Green Valley Garden Club show, etc. Gail sells retail items through the Gift Shop in the Tubac Center for the Arts and Desert Artisan’s Gallery. |
