Exploring the color and freshness watercolor makes possible, Bonnie Bedillion creates realistic paintings inspired by the unique, colorful landscapes of the southwest. Bonnie began working in watercolor in 2007. Her award-winning paintings have been juried into local shows in Tucson, as well as into the Western Federation of Watercolor Guild’s 35th Annual Exhibition in 2010.
Bonnie is a signature member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild. A long-time resident of Tucson, she has BFA from the University of Arizona, where she focused on drawing and printmaking. She also studied at the Dayton Art Institute and the Maryland Institute of Art. Now winding down from a career in engineering graphics, Bonnie enjoys painting regularly with a group of watercolor artists. A sample of her recent watercolor paintings is pictured here.
